May was an eventful month. In the first two weeks, we were very excited to launch our data science bootcamp Basecamp! Now that the application process is open, all prospects can finally apply and set off on an adventurous journey to becoming qualified data scientists with us. What an exciting time! But that was just the beginning. In the second half of the month, we have visited three different European capitals to attend three conferences: Big Data Universe in Budapest, Big Data & Data Science Conference in Paris, and last but not least Pioneers Festival in Vienna.

Next week, Lukas is going to give last two from his lectures series on data science. First, on Tuesday, he will visit Matej Bel University in Banska Bystrica, Slovakia, from where he will move to Prague, on Thursday, this time to present data science to students of Institute of Economic Studies (Charles University).

Lukas talks tomorrow (Monday 25/4/2016) at Charles University in Prague about the importance of data in all areas of business today. Talks goes through the evolution of human productivity and points out the differences between data-driven and traditional approaches to solving a problem.

Lukas speaks at the Faculty of Business Administration of Masaryk University in Brno tomorrow (19th April) at 16:30 on the importance of having data driven mindset.

On 18th April, Knoyd will participate at pitching competition which is part of Pioneers Bratislava. We will have 3 minutes to present our startup to jury and will compete against 5 other start-ups.
